Driver FAQs
Answers to common driver questions — how to log in, get session notifications, download the app, print your schedule, and more.
I got an email for an event but I don't see the schedule when I log in, why?
If you can see the event listed but not the schedule, it likely hasn’t been published yet.
When you log in, the event may appear under Upcoming Events even if the organizer is still finalizing the schedule. Until the schedule is published, it won’t be visible to participants.
Once the organizer publishes the schedule, you’ll receive an email notification and will have full access to view the event schedule.
I can't log in! What am I doing wrong?
If you can’t log in, it usually means one of two things.
If you haven’t been registered for an event by the event organizer yet, you won’t have a driver account. Once you’re registered, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to log in.
If you’ve already received that email or have logged in before and are now having trouble accessing your account, use the password reset link on the login page. That should get you back in quickly and ready for the event.
Do I have to use a mobile app?
Not at all — you’re free to use Track Time Alerts however you like. But you’d be missing out.
The mobile app delivers real-time notifications for scheduled sessions, as well as important updates during the event — black flags, weather changes, or even fun extras like impromptu gatherings.
Your privacy is safe — our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are clear that we don’t use your information for anything outside the app.
Get the app from your platform’s app store by searching “Track Time Alerts”: App Store · Google Play
Can I still print my schedule?
Absolutely. Once you log in, you can print a physical copy of just your schedule or download an Excel file of the full event, including all run groups.
Getting session notifications sounds great — what does it cost?
Nothing at all. The event covers the cost, so all you need to do is download the mobile app, log in, and allow notifications. You’ll then get real-time updates throughout the event at no charge.
Can I get SMS/text notifications?
No — Track Time Alerts doesn’t use text messages anymore. We learned that texts can be expensive, unreliable across different carriers and phones, and sometimes don’t deliver at all.
Instead, the app uses native notifications on your iPhone or Android device. This makes updates faster, more detailed, and more reliable — even if the only signal at the track is the garage Wi-Fi.
